§ 20-201. Definitions.

The term "hotel" (which includes a motel), "operator," "occupancy," "room," or "rooms," "permanent resident," "rent," or "rental," "department," and "person" are hereby defined and shall have the same meanings as provided in 35 ILCS 145/1 et seq., as those sections may be in force from time to time.

The term "city" shall mean and refer to the City of Beardstown, an Illinois municipal corporation.

The term "clerk" shall mean and refer to the City Clerk of the City of Beardstown, Illinois.

The term "return" shall mean any return filed or required to be filed as provided in this article.
