§ 6-2. Rate of charges.

(a)

The cost of grave openings for burials other than for infants and cremains shall be as follows:

(1)

Weekdays: Seven hundred fifty dollars ($750.00) per grave;

(2)

Saturdays: Eight hundred fifty dollars ($850.00) per grave;

(3)

Sundays and holidays: One thousand five hundred dollars ($1,500.00) per grave;

(4)

For the purpose of disinterment: Seven hundred dollars ($700.00) per grave.

(5)

The rate of charges provided under subsection (a)(1) shall be increased by the rate of one hundred dollars ($100.00) per hour during such times city employees are required to perform the services before or after normal working hours as they may exist for such employees.

(b)

The cost of grave openings for burials of cremains shall be four hundred dollars ($400.00) during weekdays, four hundred fifty dollars ($450.00) on Saturdays, and eight hundred dollars ($800.00) on Sundays and holidays.

(c)

The cost of grave openings for infant remains shall be two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) during weekdays, three hundred dollars ($300.00) on Saturdays, and five hundred dollars ($500.00) on Sundays and holidays.

(d)

The purchase price of a single grave shall be set at four hundred dollars ($400.00) per grave.
