The C-1 general commercial district consists of two (2) subdistricts, C-1 commercial
district for all uses as permitted herein and the C-1-A central shopping districts
for those uses as permitted herein. However, the C-1-A district is restricted to the
central shopping area of Beardstown and is bounded by Ill. River on the north, Lafayette
Street on the west, Fourth Street on the south and Jefferson Street on the east, also
both sides of Fourth Street from Bay Street on the west to Wall Street on the east.
